The export of sensitive chemical commodities such as sulfur requires high-level expertise in supply chain management, warehousing, packaging, and strict adherence to loading and transportation standards. In June 2025, we successfully executed the export of 1,500 metric tons of 99% purity Iranian granular sulfur from Bandar Abbas to the Port of Kandla, India. Executed under FOB terms, this project demanded rigorous precision in procurement, packaging, inland transportation, port warehousing, and the loading process to ensure the seamless transfer of ownership. A key operational challenge was the management of Jumbo Bag packaging. Utilizing jumbo bags requires exceptional care during stacking and handling to prevent physical damage to the granules and to maintain the product’s 99% purity levels throughout the journey. Through direct supervision of the packaging, transit, storage, and final loading processes at Bandar Abbas, we ensured that all product quality standards were in full compliance with inspection documentation. By effectively managing customs procedures and port coordination, we prepared the cargo for maritime shipment in the shortest possible timeframe while maintaining the total integrity of the granular structure. This success stands as a testament to our expertise in the sensitive petrochemical markets and our ability to establish reliable links between Iranian producers and major Indian industries.
